The Louisiana Housing Finance Agency (LHFA) will serve as the administrator of the Department of Social Services' Child Care Refurnishing Grant program Round 2. LHFA is announcing the availability of federal Social Services Block Grant funds for refurnishing Class A child care centers located in the following parishes: Orleans, Jefferson, St. Bernard, Calcasieu, Cameron, Washington, Plaquemines, and St. Tammany. Approximately $600, 000 in funding will be awarded on a first come first serve basis.
